Financial Support
We are very proud to be able to do a great deal with a rather small budget. Dozens of volunteers give thousands of hours of time to make our programs happen.
We receive funding from the many sources. Grants from foundations and sponsorships from local businesses (see the logos here and on our home page) support our program.
Local businesses make significant "in-kind" donations of facilities, services, and capital equipment. Most of our screening rooms are provided rent-free - a significant value and one we could not afford to pay out-of-pocket.
Individuals and groups have donated projectors, our large portable screens, theater quality sound equipment, and most of the gear needed to produce professional screenings for our audiences.
If you choose to become a sponsor or contributor you join a fraternity of our community's best organizations and people. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing that your support makes it possible to bring great cinema programs to Cape May. Before long we think you may see the names of people who started here in the credits on the big screen.
But in the near term you will be helping us bring good times and great independent films to our community. You'll be recognizing and promoting cinema in our home state, and helping dedicated people contribute to the artistic life the region.
