Cape
May NJ State Film Festival Guidelines
New
Jersey State Film Festival is a film and video festival
dedicated to showcasing films made in or about New Jersey
or by filmmakers associated with New Jersey by past
or current residence. Films designated Festival
Films as selected by the Festival Committee will
be given special screenings during the Festival.
Categories
Feature (over 60 minutes), Documentary and Shorts (less
than 60 minutes). Animation (any length). Works in progress
may be submitted for workshop consideration.
Preview
Tape Format
All films submitted must be on VHS (NTSC), DVD, mini-dv, NTSC tape. Work
submitted will be retained by the CMNJSFF.
Accompanying
Materials
Submissions must include the following:
- (1) Entry formCan be downloaded from the festival's website. Copy must be included with preview
tape .
- (2) VHS, DVD, or mini-dv, preview film. Both case and tape must be
labeled with the title, running time and contact information.
- (3) Optional: Still from film (photograph or jpeg file).
- (4) Optional: Promotional material.
Notification
Filmmakers
will be notified via e-mail. Films accepted for screening
must be received no later than October 31. Late submission fee $25.
Screening
Format
35MM;
DVD: MiniDV; VHS/SVHS.
How
to Apply
(1)
Print out Entry Form.
(2) Fill out completely and send with VHS (NTSC), DVD, mini-DV submission
tape of film to:
