Little Kings is an edgy romantic comedy, the story of three Italian-American brothers and their complex relationships with the women in their lives. Dom (Dominic Pace), a high school biology teacher, is in love with his brother Gino's pregnant wife, Lori (Rita Pietropinto), but sleeps with his Goth student, Courtney (Tessa Ghylin) . The philandering Gino (Mark Giordano), the dark horse, has union problems with his workers which are complicated by his affair with the labor attorney, Jenice (Sherri Parker Lee). And Johnny (Johnny Giacalone), the youngest brother, the Bohemian musician, is deeply in love with his first cousin, Carlee (Robin Paul).

The film is an urban, Italian-American Hannah and Her Sisters.

Dominic Pace Dominic was born in White Plains, New York. He studied acting with Mimi Turque and Susan Batson of the Actors Studio and with Terry Knickerbocker in William Esper’s two-year program. Dominic starred in the award-winning short little kings and co-starred in Miramax’s That's The Way I Like It as the Guardian Angel. Other Film/TV include Universal's For Love of The Game, “Strong Medicine,” and “NYPD Blue.”

Mark Giordano Mark has performed in many Off- Broadway and Regional theatrical productions. His TV work includes “Law & Order,” “Ed,” and “Now & Again.” Film: Bringing Out The Dead (with Nicholas Cage, directed by Martin Scorsese), Taxman (with Joe Pantoliano). Mark Co-Produced and played the lead in the award-winning comedic short film Creative Process 473 which is playing the festival circuit. Stand-Up Comedy: regular at all the major clubs in NYC.

Rita Pietropinto Rita is a native New Yorker and classically trained actress who received her MFA from Columbia University. Theatre credits include the Tony Nominated production of London Assurance at the Roundabout, several Off- Broadway plays and regional premieres at the Wilma and the Huntington. TV Credits include ”The Dave Chappelle Show” and recurring roles on “One Life to Live,” “As the World Turns,” and the MTV animated series, “Daria.” little kings is her feature film debut.

Johnny Giacalone Johnny is thrilled to continue his association with Marylou and Jerome, with whom he has previously worked on Rubout and the award-winning short little kings. Director’s Bio Marylou Tibaldo-Bongiorno received the NYU-GFTV $75,000 Vague Award for LITTLE KINGS, which is based on a multi-award winning short - recipient of the Grand Marnier Fellowship from The NY Film Festival. Her documentary, MOTHER-TONGUE featuring Martin Scorsese, earned an Emmy nomination. She’s completing a documentary on the 1967 Newark civil uprising and developing a narrative to be Executive Produced by Spike Lee. Her screenplay, WATERMARK, was featured at Sundance’s Investing in Media That Matters and at the 2003 Hamptons Screenwriters Conference.

Production Notes: little kings was filmed in October and November, 2001, in New York City in the aftermath of 9/11. It is a testament to the spirit of the actors, crew, Mayor Giuliani, and the city of New York that we were able to make this film a reality, shooting on location, on schedule, supported by countless individuals who make New York so resilient, enduring, and magical...
