FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Turn Your Pictures Into a Movie!

As the Ken Burns’ World War II documentary comes to a close, maybe it’s time for you to take a look at how to turn your pictures into a movie. Most people don’t realize how easy it is to take their pictures and make them into a movie just like the Burns’ documentaries.
Successful independent filmmaker Tom Sims shows how to turn your digital photos and video clips into entertaining movies your friends and family will enjoy seeing. An entertaining and informative demonstration will be followed by a "lab" where participants will use their own computers to put what they have learned into practice.
Tom and other coaches will circulate to advise and help. By the end of the day students will be well on their way to completing a home movie that's exciting to watch. The workshop will take place on Friday, November 16 from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

The New Jersey State Film Festival at Cape May is the state’s premiere film festival dedicated exclusively to the support and presentation of creative, challenging, groundbreaking, film/video works by New Jersey filmmakers. The Festival is also the region’s leading educational and cultural resource for youth and adult learners interested in all facets of the cinematic experience. For tickets and information, contact the Film Festival office at 609-884-6700 or visit them online at www.njstatefilmfestival.com.
