FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Juggling & Prosky: Fun for Kids

(Cape May, NJ) You say you need a way to help juggle your children’s schedule this weekend. The New Jersey State Film Festival at Cape May has many choices to entertain your children—and you too. First, why not teach THEM how to juggle. Juggling Life, a documentary about the New Jersey is Beautiful Juggling Program will screen on Saturday, November 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Cape May Elementary School. The workshop on juggling will be immediately thereafter. The program will teach juggling, devil sticks, poi, and diablo! Learn how to group juggle and play quickhands!

And at the newly reconditioned Beach Theater, Cape May’s favorite star of the silver screen, Robert Prosky, will field questions after the screening of “Mrs. Doubtfire” and the 1994 remake of “Miracle on 34th Street”. This will take place on Saturday, November 17 at 4:00 p.m. What was it like to work with Robin Williams? What was it like to proclaim Chris Kringle the true Santa Claus? Be on hand to ask these questions to an actor who knows! But to let you know ahead of time, when Mr. Prosky is asked, “What do you do when there’s a crisis on stage?” He says, “Simple. Juggle.”

The New Jersey State Film Festival at Cape May is the state’s premiere film festival dedicated exclusively to the support and presentation of creative, challenging, groundbreaking, film/video works by New Jersey filmmakers. The Festival is also the region’s leading educational and cultural resource for youth and adult learners interested in all facets of the cinematic experience. For tickets and information, contact the Film Festival office at 609-884-6700 or visit them online at www.njstatefilmfestival.com.
