Cape May Film Festival Appoints Two to its Professional Staff
CAPE MAY, NJ-The Cape May NJ State Film Festival is proud to announce the recent appointments of Annie Mullok as Office Administrator/Special Events Coordinator and Brenda Taube as Executive Director.
Annie Mullock joins the festival with an extensive background in special event planning.
Most recently she was employed by Congress Hall and prior to that at the Chalfont Hotel as special event coordinator. Mullock has organized the “Nicholson Charter/Yacht Show” in Antigua, the world’s largest charter/yacht show. She also enjoys cooking and does professional catering on the side. Additionally, Mullock serves on the Faces Autism Support Board and Community Outreach Dance Network. Mullock graduated from the University of New Hampshire and resides in West Cape May with her husband, Paul and their three children.
Brenda Taube has a background in business management and in the arts. She most recently was employed as Assistant Director of the NJ Small Business Development Center and has worked as the Director of Marketing & Tourism for the South Jersey Cultural Alliance, an organization of arts, cultural and historical groups in southern New Jersey. Taube also worked in the hotel industry and owned her own business.
She balances her professional career with community service and has served on the Boards of the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross and currently serves
on the RNS Cancer & Heart Fund Board of Directors and volunteers for the Miss
America Organization. Brenda Taube is a graduate of Richard Stockton College and resides in Margate with her husband, John.
The Cape May State Film Festival is New Jersey’s premiere weekend film festival celebrating the best New Jersey films and filmmakers and has become one of the major festivals on the east coat.
The festival has grown from 500 in 2001 to over 3,000 in 2003.
At the gala opening night ceremony each year, the festival presents the Governor’s Award for outstanding contribution to film in New Jersey to a prominent film artist. Our past recipients include Robert Prosky, Susan Sarandon and Billy Baldwin.
The 4th Annual Cape May New Jersey Film Festival will be held on November 18th – 21st at the elegantly restored Congress Hall Hotel and the Frank Family’s Cape May Beach Theater.
